The Family Law department is headed by an experienced solicitor in the firm who specialises in the law relating to Childcare.

Within the department are solicitors and executives with extensive experience in divorce matters and related financial disputes and contact issues including an Accredited Family Law Specialist with The Solicitors Family Law Association. The firm’s Newark and Mansfield offices hold the Specialist Quality Mark Standard for Family Law awarded by the Legal Services Commission to undertake work under legal aid.

Our range of expertise includes:
Complex divorce and matrimonial cases involving substantial assets and/or business assets; handling cases involving arbitration and mediation; handling cases at all levels; cases requiring emergency relief involving freezing orders and search and find orders.

The department also includes members of the Law Society’s Children Panel,which means we have solicitors qualified to represent children in care proceedings and all aspects of the law relating to children. Our solicitors regularly appear in the Magistrates and County Courts contesting cases on behalf of clients and have appeared in the High Court.
