Newark Chess League
Tallents is proud to have sponsored the Newark Chess League since it started in 2008. The sponsorship allows the League to provide three free coaching sessions for the League members each year and also to give the children who participate medals and trophies.
The League currently comprises 13 teams of four children from primary schools across Newark and the surrounding area. Boys and girls of any age and from any local primary school are invited to join the League, no matter what level chess they play at. The school doesn’t have to have a chess club in order to participate, just four children and an interested adult or teacher.

Palace Theatre Newark
Tallents is very proud to be the inaugural Principal Sponsor of the Palace Theatre Newark.

Newark Carnival
Tallents has been an inaugural sponsor of Newark Carnival since it began.
In July 2011, thousands of Newark residents lined the streets to enjoy an event that has become a popular fixture in Newark’s summer events.
