About Elizabeth
Upon qualification as a solicitor in 2005, Elizabeth Rees spent a number of years practising as a criminal advocate in Magistrates’ Courts and police stations around the county.
Outside of work, Elizabeth has two young children that keep her on her toes and in rare spare moments enjoys watching a good game of rugby, having played herself in her younger days at University.
Licensing law
She also has extensive experience in Licensing Law and deals with licence transfers as well as personal and premises applications for businesses conducting regulated activities such as the provision of alcohol and late night refreshments. Elizabeth can also help in all areas of liquor licensing, dealing with simple transfers of existing licenses, obtaining licenses for currently unlicensed premises, restaurants, nightclubs and public entertainment licenses.
Private client work
More recently Elizabeth Rees has joined our expanding Private Client department at our Mansfield office and is now involved in trust and probate work as well as the administration of estates. She also is regularly instructed by clients to advise on and prepare Wills and Powers of Attorney.
Appointments and memberships
Elizabeth is an accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly, a national association of lawyers who specialise in older client law. She is able to offer independent and confidential advice which is in the best interests of older or vulnerable clients.
