On Saturday 9 May 2026, the sun shone brightly at Newark Showground for the 141st Nottinghamshire County Show. This year, the Show was bigger and better than ever with more than 1,500 competitors and 272 stalls for the visitors to experience.
Tallents Solicitors were proud sponsors of the Festival of Food where the best in local and regional foods were featured, alongside lots of shopping for artisanal goods and plenty of live music to entertain the crowds!
Our Senior Partner, Alistair Millar was there to experience the best of the flavours of our countryside with handpicked local food and drink producers from Nottinghamshire and beyond, who were showcasing their wares for everyone to enjoy.
He was delighted to hand out two certificates, one for the Best Trade Stand in Show to ‘Creatively Reclaimed’ and another to Chandlers (Farm Machinery) Ltd for the Best Agricultural Stand Exhibiting Machinery.
