Tallents Solicitors, with offices in Newark, Southwell and Mansfield has raised more than £10,000 for charity this year after taking part in a will-writing campaign, making them the 4th top fundraiser for Will Aid in the UK.
Tallents Solicitors have taken part in the annual Will Aid scheme, which asks firms of solicitors to write wills for local people and instead, ask only for a voluntary donation.
This year the staff redoubled their efforts and raised an impressive £10,410 in the month-long fundraiser, making them the 4th highest fundraiser in the UK.
Taking into account the other three years that the firm has taken part in Will Aid, their total raised to date for the charity is an impressive £23,889. Their efforts in 2017 made them one of the top five donating firms to take part in the scheme last year.
Elizabeth Rees from the firm, said:
Our team has thoroughly enjoyed participating in Will Aid and have worked very hard to deliver top-quality Wills for our clients, while also raising money for Will Aid.
We are very happy to donate our time towards WillAid. It is a great way of generating a link with new clients. We would definitely recommend that other law firms get involved.
The team at Tallents Solicitors wrote dozens of wills during the month of November, generously giving their time for free for the whole month.
