Tallents Solicitors is delighted to announce that solicitor Stephanie Whitchurch has been appointed as a Partner to the Dispute Resolution Team.

Stephanie is an experienced solicitor and Senior Litigator with Tallents and has been with the firm since 2012.

Her experience covers a wide range of personal and commercial dispute resolution, including: commercial and individual contract disputes, partnership and director / shareholder disputes (particularly in farming businesses and property disputes, including boundary disputes and landlord and tenant matters. Stephanie is especially well regarded locally for her work on contentious trusts and probate matters.

Stephanie can be contacted for advice on dispute resolution involving:

  • General contract disputes

  • Construction disputes
  • Commercial and residential property disputes
  • Possession claims
  • Partnership and director disputes, particularly in farming businesses
  • Debt recovery matters
  • Landlord and tenant issues

Stephanie also has proven expertise in advising both employers and employees with regards to contentious and non-contentious employment law issues, such as: settlement agreements, unfair dismissal clams, disciplinary and grievance procedures, drafting contracts and staff handbooks, and advising on TUPE procedures.

She said:

Having been with Tallents for six years now, this appointment as Partner is a wonderful opportunity to expand the Dispute Resolution department’s offering even further. There is clearly a gap in the market for a first-class legal team to step in and deliver a dedicated individual and commercial dispute resolution service to clients and commercial businesses in the region. Together with my colleague Ross Pierrepont, we offer a full dispute resolution service to our clients in Newark, Southwell and Mansfield.

I am very excited to be part of Tallents Solicitors as the firm continues to grow and strengthen its legal offering to clients across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. I look forward to building more long-standing relationships with my existing and new clients.

Senior Partner, Jeremy Blatherwick said:

Stephanie has been a valuable member of the Tallents team for the last six years and this appointment to Partner is testament to her dedication, loyalty and hard work. Myself and the other Partners are really looking forward to the energy and enthusiasm that she will bring to the senior management team.
