#TeamTallents have been out in force again, this time painting and restoring garden furniture at Beaumond House Hospice, and carrying out a whole range of other tasks, such as sweeping, weeding and tidying, pruning and dead-heading plants. Staff from our Newark office rolled up their sleeves ad once again donned painting and gardening gloves to help out the Newark charity.
David Payne from Beaumond House said: “We are working towards a big open day at the end of June at Beaumond House Hospice Care, so the assistance from Tallents Solicitors’ staff in the grounds is very timely indeed.
“Please will you pass our thanks to Mary, Stephanie, Georgia and Victoria. They worked like trojans and were good company. The garden already looks so much tidier and the tatty bench looks very classy.”
Following a second visit by Linda, Sarah, Helena, Catherine and Nicola from #TeamTallents, David also said: “The finger crossing seemed to work – yesterday was dry but not overwhelmingly hot. Your five volunteers were lovely and worked very hard. Some of the garden furniture they prepared will be painted today, and our gardener Kim was thrilled at the difference it made having a group of people working throughout the day – it has really got the garden and grounds back to where she wants them to be.”
